Next year, visitors will be able to see in one particular place what the specialised exhibition EXPO, which will be held in Belgrade in 2027, will look like. In an attractive and modern exhibition space on the ground floor of the building at 5 Kralja Milana Street, the citizens of Belgrade and visitors to our capital will have the opportunity to find out more about the exhibition itself, its content and the programme. In addition, there will also be an exhibition section in order to present EXPO 2027 to everyone interested in the best possible way. EXPO 2027 d.o.o. Belgrade has announced that the preparation of the Specialised Exhibition is under way, and that they are looking forward to November this year, when the participating countries will start registering and announcing the content that will be available to visitors during the 3 months of the exhibition.

Dušan Borovčanin, the director of EXPO 2027 d.o.o. Belgrade, said: “Although the largest part of the programme will be announced after the registration of the participating countries that will organise lectures and performances, with the participation of their biggest music and sports stars and the most influential speakers, the citizens are impatient to find out what the exhibition space itself will look like. That’s why next year we will have a multifunctional space in the very centre of Belgrade, where everyone will be able to find out what 2027 will bring”.

The building that will house the headquarters of EXPO 2027 d.o.o., designed by Relja Kostić, an architect, and his wife, is currently in the phase of adaptation and revitalisation of the facade, especially considering that the existing glass facade has a large number of damaged panes and does not comply with modern energy efficiency requirements. The new elements on the building, preserving the memory of the late architect and his idea, will complete and increase the quality of the building, providing both the work and exhibition space for the successful realisation of the Specialised Exhibition EXPO 2027 Belgrade.

As a reminder, EXPO 2027 Belgrade will be held in Belgrade in the period from 15 May to 15 August 2027, under the theme “Play for humanity: Sports and Music for All”. It is expected that during the 92 days of the event, more than 3 million people will visit Belgrade, as well as representatives from more than 120 countries, who will present their views on the theme of the exhibition.
